Huawei leaks Ascend W1, Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate

Pictures have leaked online showcasing a selection of Huawei’s forthcoming smartphone handsets, including the Windows Phone 8-powered Ascend W1 and the rumoured 6.1-inch phablet, now dubbed the Ascend Mate.

The Ascend Mate has leaked before, but the new shots are actually official product pictures and show it coloured white and in a much more finished state.

Previously we saw a version with a black front panel and brushed metal back. With the more up-to-date shots we can also see the camera port on the rear has been neatly integrated and is now much more discrete.

There isn’t any new info on specs, but previous leaks suggested a 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

A separate leak shows off the back panel of Huawei’s first Windows Phone 8 handset, the Ascend W1, which will debut at CES in January and will be available in a range of colours. Huawei is also said to be working on the Ascend W2 and we’ve also seen evidence of an Ascend W3 leaked before.

In addition, a new photo has leaked of Huawei's D2 smartphone. Huawei recently announced the Android Jelly Bean-powered Ascend D2, which will sport a 5-inch 1080p touch display and run the company’s own K3V quad-core chip clocked at 1.5GHz.
