RIM’s BlackBerry 10 L-Series handset demoed next to iPhone 5

A video showing off RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry L-Series handset, codenamed ‘London,’ has leaked online, giving us our best glimpse yet at what RIM will unveil on January 30.

The video comes via Tihhte, a YouTube channel with a solid track record of leaking devices, and shows RIM’s new handset in all its glory. It’s a premium-looking device worlds apart from the company’s traditional design ethos.

The video-blogger demos the L-Series handset alongside RIM’s Dev Alpha handset. The L-Series handset shares a few similarities, as RIM said it would, but is a much more refined looking piece of hardware.

Build quality looks excellent, as does BlackBerry 10’s UI. Towards the end we even get a brief comparison of how the L-Series device stacks up against Apple’s iPhone 5.

Check out our exhaustive article on RIM’s L-Series handset for more information about the upcoming device and what to expect once it’s launched on January 30.
